DIY Hand Sanitiser
Hand Sanitiser – Preparation time – 5 minutes
Equipment
Ingredients
- 99% rubbing alcohol
- Distilled water
- Vitamin e or hemp oil
- Lemon essential oil (optional)
Method
- Add 75ml 99% rubbing alcohol to a measuring jug. Please note for this to be effective it is imperative the overall alcohol content is 70% + so ensure you are accurately measuring this.
- Add 2 -3 drops of vitamin e or hemp oil and 15 drops of lemon essential oil (you can use any essential oil here, this is for fragrance purposes I like to use lemon or lavender)
- Top up to 100 ml with distilled water then add to the plastic spray bottle.
Shake gently before use, this can be used to help sanitise hands, clothes, shopping trolleys etc. I always have a bottle in my glove compartment and use this on my hands, in my car and while out shopping.
